Disclosure of such records and information gathered in course of Investigation may have adverse domestic and international impact on an Investigation or any future Investigation, as the information will no longer be openly disclosed or made available to the investigators. Lack of access to such information would impede the future investigation process and seriously affect aviation safety.

Further, in accordance with Section 8(1) (h) of RTI Act 2005, AAIB does not disclose any information which would impede the process of Investigation.
